Following a 2018 trial on racketeering charges in the Eastern District of New York, Jonathan persuaded a federal judge to trim more than ten years from the sentence prosecutors recommended for the lead defendant. In a stunning pair of “white collar” victories in 2020 and 2022, Jonathan defeated securities fraud claims in an SEC enforcement action in the Southern District of New York and secured the dismissal of insider trader charges in the District of Massachusetts.
