Mr. Savella graduated with honors from Brooklyn Law School in 2010 and began his career as a junior attorney in the office of a prominent appeals lawyer in New York City. He completed a prestigious clerkship for a U.S. District Court judge before opening his own practice in 2015. His recent clients include the former CEO of a major New York City credit union, charged with embezzlement; a Mexican national whom the government described as “a high-ranking member of the Sinaloa Cartel” and close associate of “one of the most prolific drug traffickers in Mexico;” and a Long Island doctor accused of conspiring to submit millions of dollars in fraudulent claims to medical insurers.
